The Virginia Holocaust Museum was founded in 1997 and was originally housed in Temple Beth El to serve as an educational attraction for school field trips. After quickly outgrowing its space, the museum moved and expanded. The Virginia Holocaust Museum hosts over 42,000 visitors each year and remains a popular spot for field trips for schools all over the state!
