In its four years, Richmond Brunch Weekend has raised over $55,000 for cancer research at VCU Massey Cancer Center. On Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24, we do it all again! Show up at one of our participating restaurants, and support cancer research and a local restaurant. Who knew there was more to brunch than omelets and mimosas? In addition to great entertainment, there will be plenty of family fun, including children’s games, face painting and Irish-themed crafts. Over thirty Irish vendors will be in attendance! Food and refreshments will also be available. Enjoy wonderful “Irish Lasagna” prepared by the Ladies of St. Patrick’s, “Fish and Chips” and other favorites provided by Rare Olde Times Irish Pub, and many more. Weekly outdoor concert series along the James River in beautiful Downtown Richmond, VA. The only summer concert series held along the James River, Cheers draws 3,000-6,000 people per week to Richmond’s picturesque Brown’s Island, a park-like setting situated between the Canal Walk and the scenic James River in downtown Richmond, Virginia. Friday Cheers takes place every Friday in May and June. Join us on Saturday, September 21st in Church Hill’s Chimborazo Park from 11 AM to 4 PM for a celebration of dogs, dog owners, and dog lovers. This event brings together a network of vendors who serve the dog community in Richmond, such as trainers, dog sitters, rescue leagues, dog treat makers, etc. There will be craft beer, live music, demonstration seminars, and food trucks!
