At nearly 300 acres, Byrd Park is a huge green space within the city and includes three lakes – Shields Lake, Swan Lake, and Boat Lake. When the weather is warm you can take a pedal-boat! Byrd Park also offers walking paths, an exercise trail, tennis courts, and baseball fields. Check out the popular dog park called Barker Field or tour the beautiful Carillon.
