Covering an entire city block, Old City Hall was in commission from the late 1800s until the 1970s when a new City Hall was constructed across the street. The Historic Richmond Foundation saved the building from being demolished and it has since been converted to a private office building. Visitors are welcome to tour the first floor for free during normal business hours.  Art lovers will appreciate the Victorian Gothic style of the building making it highly distinguishable from all other buildings in the area.
