For 3 days in October, the Richmond Folk Festival brings essence of worldly musical and traditional culture to us! As one of the city’s largest events, it takes place on Brown’s Island and is full of attractions, food, demonstrations, music, events, etc. The folk festival is dedicated to celebrating roots. Be sure to visit it if you can. The experience is like none other. Also, it is FREE!
